Provisional Psychologist
I have experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, trauma, life transitions, workplace challenges, career direction, chronic illness, and relationship difficulties. I have also supported individuals experiencing crisis, suicide risk, and significant emotional distress through my work with Lifeline.
I have worked within University clinics, research and peer programs, Non-Governmental Organisations, private settings, youth empowerment services, faith-based community development programs, educational institutions, disability services and online counselling.
In addition to supporting adults, i have worked with children, young people, and families to support them with school readiness, school refusal, bullying, sibling and friendship difficulties, parent-child relationships, adolescent challenges, and supporting children with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism.
I aim to provide a warm, practical, and supportive space where people feel understood, build on their strengths, and develop skills to move towards meaningful goals and positive change. I have enjoyed working with diverse communities and love to learn about cultural perspectives and what makes life meaningful for each of us.
In my own time, I like to read, watch and listen to real-life stories about people sharing their experiences so that I can learn from them and continue growing in compassion and understanding. I love all things personal growth and goals including the neuroscience of it all. To ground myself, I walk along the river with my toy cavoodle and photograph sunsets from new viewing spots.
